What inspired you to start Secondly?
We love fashion and clothes, but we’ve also seen how unsustainable the industry can be. So, with a shared love for secondhand and vintage clothing, we wanted to build something that celebrated style and sustainability. A place where every pre-loved piece could find a new home and a new story. That’s how Secondly was born.
What's your favourite thing about thrifting?
We both love the feeling of wearing something that no one else owns! those one-of-a-kind pieces with real personality. There’s such joy in the hunt: finding something with history, character, and a story to tell after living so many lives. And the best part? Knowing it’s a more sustainable way to dress.
What will Secondly teach the next generation?
That fashion doesn’t have to be fast to be fun.
We want kids (and parents!) to see that reusing, rewearing, and passing things on is not only kinder to the planet but also a way to celebrate creativity and individuality. Every secondhand piece is a small act of care. For the Earth, for each other, and for the stories our clothes carry.
